Many foreign men as well as our local ask a trite question every time: “Why women from CIS countries are looking for a husband from abroad, but not in their native counties?” Exactly this issue makes anxious millions of foreign men all over planet. Unfortunately, many men are convinced that our ladies are striving for the better life from its material welfare because they live in poverty, dirtiness and cities where “bears are strolling along the streets”. Yes, this is the way it is imagined and namely bears. Unfortunately a lot of foreign men have no idea about CIS countries, cities, living standards, quality of education, etiquette and just simple relationships between people.
Being an interpreter by major, I have visited a lot of countries all over the world (I think there’s no sense to name all of them now), have met lots of people, got acquainted with different cultured and traditions. I have seen lots of historic and historical monuments and buildings, way of life in variety of countries. For me it’s possible to say proudly that our culture and heritage don’t yield to those abroad. Yes, we have different living standards, social setting, salary level, BUT…..people are the same EVERYWHERE!
Our men were not brought up in the proper way as to respect to women, family and children responsibility due to our historical events. Please don’t think that all men in our countries are like mentioned above. But many things (for example: to have a lover), which are a big shame in another counties, are normal events with our men. The richer man is, the more it is prestigious. To consider a wife to be a housewife is a very natural things here too. Paying not enough attention to family and children is also very common here. While foreign men are striving to spend as much time as possible with their kids and family, our men prefer gentlemen’s company with beer after their working day. “What is a family? Just nothing! I have a wife, so she is responsible for children’s upbringing!”. Please don’t think that I am blaming our men and consider them to be idiots – this is their choice and right! But our ladies, who are dreaming of warmth, love and cozy hearth, suffer a lot. Don’t you know that namely our ladies are very clear headed? Do you know how much unspent love they do have in their hearts? Thus they are striving to find their second halves in different part of our big and beautiful planet!
Every time being abroad I can’t help admiring young people and people advanced in years walking hand in hand along the streets. This is a great pleasure to observe their tender attitude towards each other. And it doesn’t matter how old are they. Unfortunately you could hardly notice such things in our countries. Maybe many of you will comment now: “But it’s just a tad!” Yes, maybe it can be called like a “trifle”, but it show a real attitude! I am quite convinced that our ladies are also dreaming of this, of love, such tender attitude and attention. Then in their turn they will give you much more in return, believe me!
Upon reading my article many of you may ask: ”Hey, you’re traveling so much, you are working with foreigners so why you aren’t still married?” I will answer directly: Yes, I am also looking for my future husband, friend and partner in one person. It doesn’t matter for me where he lives. The most important thins is understanding between us, mutual respect and of course love which will be granted to our children in future.” This is the reason I am still looking for my second half. I don’t want just to immigrate, I want to find the special person, then I will be able to follow him even to “world's end”!
